A trauma-informed work environment for each woman to learn practical job skills and earn an income with dignity, while creating valuable products that connect the local community to her restoration journey.
TRANSITIONAL LIVING CENTER
She practices her independence.
Transitional housing for those women who graduate from the restoration home or equivalent program and desire a stepping stone on their path toward independence.
HER RESTORATION JOURNEY
Even after a woman has escaped her trafficking situation, there is often a gap between her exploitation and living in true freedom and that gap can feel overwhelming. She needs a safe place where she can recover from the trauma and develop life skills and job skills, to be able to live a healthy, balanced life with financial independence. Simply stated - she needs the space and opportunity for restoration. She needs a bridge between her exploitation and freedom.
Wings of Refuge provides that bridge and is committed to walk alongside each survivor’s journey of restoration. True restoration longs to see identities restored to God’s intended design; therefore, we point women toward Jesus as we walk alongside them on their path of restoration.

We acknowledge the complex battle in the abolishment of domestic sex trafficking and the multi-faceted levels of influence necessary to gain victory over it. We believe we are one part of a greater whole. We continually form networks in the fight against domestic sex trafficking. We seek to learn from others and to be a team builder of solidarity whose united goal is to work wisely in the area of abolition.
Most people are aware of sex trafficking and feel helpess in knowing what to do about it. You don’t have to feel overwhelmed by this injustice - you can end sex trafficking by supporting survivors! Exploitation ends and freedom begins when a woman comes to live at Wings of Refuge.
Wings of Refuge remains centered to the primary call of restoration, while committing to four focus areas that combat domestic sex trafficking:

Through education, we empower people to join us to end exploitation and make restoration possible.
Through networking, we work with organizations that are on the front lines recovering survivors.
Through the restoration home, we provide 24/7 care, support, and programming that addresses the whole person -heart, mind, body, and soul.
Through the social enterprise and TLC, we empower survivors to rise into an independent life filled with hope & possibilities.
Together, we help light the path to independence so each woman in the Wings of Refuge program can rise into a life filled with hope and possibility.
