TRANSITIONAL LIVING CENTER
A STEPPING STONE TO INDEPENDENT LIVING
To provide a sanctuary for restoration through community. We understand that healing and recovery looks different for everyone and are committed to supporting you in this process. Whether the exploitation happened recently or years ago, you are welcome here.
The Wings of Refuge Transitional Living Center (TLC)
is offered to women who have graduated from the Wings of Refuge program or another similar Christ-centered, long term residential program. Here you’ll live in safe housing and receive support as you establish independence and healthy habits while working, volunteering, or continuing your education.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
This 5,000 sq ft home consists of five studio style rooms with private bathrooms and is furnished with what you need, including a bed, dresser, microwave, and mini-fridge. The shared communal space on the main floor includes a kitchen, dining, and living area. The Learning Center and staff offices are also on site.
Life at the Transitional Living Center is life in community, guided by a set of core values that operate on the principle that each participant is connected to every other participant and staff. The hope of the created community is that respect and grace can flourish as agents for positive change for everyone.
The TLC Coordinator is here to support you and will meet with you weekly as you work toward your goals.
As you progress towards living on your own, you will be encouraged to spend at least 20 hours outside of the home to either attend school, work full or part time, or volunteer.
Attending weekly therapy sessions and keeping all scheduled appointments with both staff and outside providers is an important part of your continued healing.
If you are a mom, this is a chance to focus on your independence so that you can be a better support for your child(ren). Your children are welcome to visit you, but they are not able to live with you at the Transitional Living Center.
Qualification for the TLC is based on graduation from an accepted long term residential program, application, individual interview, availability of housing, and the recommendation of your previous Program Director.
