As you move through each station, you’ll learn how sex trafficking can happen, consider the vulnerabilities and circumstances that can increase someone’s risk, and discover why trafficking doesn’t always look the way we might expect.

 

You’ll also learn about the work of Wings of Refuge and how we walk alongside women on their journey toward healing, restoration, and freedom. Most importantly, you’ll leave with a deeper understanding of the realities of trafficking and practical ways you can be part of the solution.

 

The Empathy Experience is available for groups of 10–30 people. Smaller groups are welcome to join us at the Wings of Refuge office in Ames, or we can bring the experience to your location for larger gatherings. We suggest a $150 contribution to help cover expenses.
