
TRAUMA SENSITIVE CURRICULUM MANAGER
Job Title: Trauma Sensitive Curriculum Manager
Department: Residential Services
Hours: 30 hours, Monday through Friday. On call as needed. ​

Job Summary

Develop trauma-sensitive curriculum that educates participants about coping skills, emotional
regulation, trauma, etc.

Evaluate needs of the program and assess topics and classes based on participant need.

Connect program outcomes with class content.

Lead classes based on current needs or phases of participants. May delegate or designate
leading of classes to volunteers or staff as appropriate or necessary.

Lead discussions that create a safe environment for growth and healing.

Create a space of accountability in connection with class topics.
Education and Experience: Education or experience in the mental health field, along with a good understanding of trauma is required. Preference will be given to individuals who possess a bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, behavior health, or a related field. 3 - 5 years of relevant experience required.

Note: This role works directly with female participants in our residential homes. Wings of Refuge follows a trauma informed care approach and due to the nature and sensitivity of this job, a bona fide occupational qualification is that we can only hire women into this role.
