Swing for Freedom Golf Outing

Pastor Rick Summerhays of Water’s Edge Church in Ogden and Ray Hansen have planned the 3rd Annual 2-person best-shot fundraiser golf outing. The proceeds will benefit the efforts of Wings of Refuge, providing assistance to survivors of human trafficking. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. with a shot gun start at 9:30 a.m. Men, women, or Co-ed teams are welcome. Entry fee includes an 18 hole best shot for two players, light breakfast, lunch, and awards presentation. There will be chances to win prizes for flight winners, three hole-in-ones, closest to the pin, longest putt, and longest drive. There will also be an optional mulligan drive from a local golf pro.

Joy Fopma, founder of Wings of Refuge, will be at the golf tournament live on Facebook during the day as she speaks on how exploitation ends with awareness. Wings of Refuge engages individuals and communities to take action against the world’s largest criminal industry through awareness and training events throughout the state of Iowa. Awareness, prayer, action, community, provision, and YOU can all help end exploitation for one more girl.
