Our current open position allows for flexibility in your week. The schedule is two overnights each week (5pm-8am and you can sleep) and one 24 hour shift every other weekend. It leaves most of your day hours available to you during the week. This works out to full-time hours and benefits (including health insurance). We would love to discuss more specifics and answer any questions you may have about the position!

 

Summary of Job Responsibilities:  Create a culture of relaxation and normal life routines.

                                                

Provide Safety:  Support participants during non-programming hours.

                                                                              

Build Relationships:  Create an atmosphere of fun, relaxation and recreational development.

 

Maintain Home: Oversee and assist participants in home cleaning and other tasks.

 

Support Programming:  Assist daytime staff with task completion.

Key Skills:  Self-motivated and creative thinker; strong problem-solving skills; comfortable working alone.

Education and Experience:  Preference will be given to individuals who possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in behavioral or social sciences, social work, psychology, education, counseling, or a related field and have two years of experience in the field of human services.

Summary of Job Responsibilities:  Engage participants in developing life skills, educational and/or vocational skills and a healthy lifestyle.

                                                

Support Participants:  Guide participants in the achievement of their individual goals.      

                                                                              

Manage Home:  Coordinate the daily schedule with participants and staff.                                                                                                                                                                                             

Collaborate in Programming and Daily Activities:  Work with Learning Center staff, Program Director and Program Assistant to coordinate daily activities and responsibilities.

 

Key skills:  Ability to prioritize tasks and coordinate schedules; self-motivated and creative thinker; strong problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience:  Preference will be given to individuals who possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in behavioral or social sciences, social work, psychology, education, counseling, or a related field and have two (2) years of experience in the field of human services.

Program Description: ONE MORE is the social enterprise program that operates under Wings of Refuge. ONE MORE provides a trauma-informed work environment where survivors of sex trafficking (participants) can learn job skills and earn an income. Through making jewelry and home goods, each woman is learning practical workplace skills that will serve her on her path to independence and for the rest of her life.

Through the sales of survivor-made products, ONE MORE provides meaningful employment to survivors and connects local consumers to a story that is bigger than themselves. ONE MORE is a meaningful opportunity for consumers to give back, and survivors to grow in their workplace skills. Everything that we do at ONE MORE is so that exploitation ends for one more girl.

 

Summary of Job Responsibilities:  The Social Enterprise Coordinator will continue to develop, oversee, and promote the ONE MORE brand and products and create a trauma-informed business environment for employees (participants).

                                                

Manage Business Opportunities:  Coordinate all business operations for ONE MORE.

                                                                              

Oversee Marketing and Branding:  Work with Marketing/Event Coordinator to market and brand ONE MORE.

 

Network and Distribute Product: Develop relationships with vendors that clearly define the ONE MORE mission and promote product sales.

 

Supervise and Mentor ONE MORE employees:  Create a work environment where employees feel valued and expectations are clear.

Key Skills:  Self-motivated and creative thinker; strong problem-solving skills; comfortable working alone.
